Support for Families Initiative

Premier Doug Ford and Education Minister Stephen Lecce announced new financial support for families. The support for families initiative is a one-time payment: $200 for each child up to 12 years of age; and $250 per child up to 21 years of age with special needs.

Make sure you have the information ready before applying:

- Banking information - Child’s Birth date - The name of school (public or private) - Parent’s email

Parents who received financial support during the school strikes a few months ago, do not need to fill out the direct deposit information; the government already has it. If you did not, parents are required to provide their banking information on this website.
