Prime Minister Justin Trudeau speaks with reporters in Toronto after making an announcement at HXOUSE, an incubator co-founded by Canadian singer The Weeknd. The federal government is partnering with Canadian banks to invest up to $221 million to launch the Black Entrepreneurship Program. Ottawa will contribute up to $93 million over the next four years. The prime minister also responds to questions about Canada's economic recovery amid a rise in COVID-19 cases and about the minority Liberal government's upcoming throne speech. He is joined by Ahmed Ismail, co-founder of House, Mary Ng, the minister of small business, export promotion and international trade, and Greg Fergus, the MP for Hull-Aylmer and chair of the Parliamentary Black Caucus.
